EDU 507 - Impact of Media on Teaching and Learning

Students will learn the impact media has on teaching and learning. Starting with a close examination of the effects of media on social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of youth and the long-term effects on brain development, students will then analyze the impact of media on students in their classrooms. Students will learn ways to develop media literacy skills in their students to encourage critical thinking.
