ART 285 - Introduction to Photography

An introduction to photography as a visual language with an emphasis on material, process, technique and composition. A variety of themes are explored, allowing students to determine which conceptual values are important to them. Their commitment to those values will be reflected in their visual responses to these themes. Student must have access to a 35mm SLR manual camera.
