CHEM 121 - General Chemistry I

An introduction to chemistry presenting the fundamental principles and appropriate descriptive material to serve as a foundation for further study of the subject. This course is the first in a two semester sequence. Qualitative and quantitative analysis are included in the laboratory portion of this course. Three hours lecture and one three-hour laboratory weekly.

Prerequisites Math placement of MATH 104 or higher. If placed in MATH 104R, MATH 104 and MATH 104R must be taken as prerequisites.
