SPAN 123 - Elementary Spanish for the Professions This course is designed to prepare students linguistically and culturally to use Spanish in their future professions-covering a wide range of careers and workplaces. Through a communicative approach, students will practice basic skills needed both to apply for jobs and within their respective work environments. Students will also explore cross-cultural perspectives needed to navigate interactions with global Spanish speakers in their future careers. This course is the equivalent to SPAN 122 . Students can take it to fulfill their General Education Language requirement. Students who have already taken SPAN 122 can take this class as an elective.
