SPED 361 - Apprenticeship for Teaching (Field Experience II) In this field experience, special education teacher candidates will complete experiences in two classroom settings across two levels (elementary, middle, or secondary) for students with mild to moderate disabilities. Teacher candidates will gradually assume teaching responsibilities from tutoring, to working with small groups, to whole-class instruction and management. Teacher candidates will analyze IEP and assessment data to plan, implement, and assess instructional supports related to student academic, social-emotional, behavioral, and post-secondary needs.
Credits: 2-3
Prerequisites Pass Praxis Core and EDU 160 and EDU 260
