ART 108 - Drawing I

Introductory course for the development of perceptual and representational skills involving a variety of media and techniques. Contour, proportion, value, spatial concepts, figure-ground relationships and presentation will be stressed. Preliminary expressive strategies will be explored. Primary subjects will involve still-life, portrait, and landscape.
