EDU 731 - Cultural and Linguistic Understanding for ESOL Educators

This course will improve the educator’s understanding of the diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds of Multilingual Learners of English. Course content will focus on cultural and linguistic diversity and identity with emphasis on the following topics: second language acquisition theory, culturally responsive learning environments, cultural bias, socio-economic diversity, and the home-school connection.
