EDU 550 - Technology Professional Development This course series is designed for elementary, middle, and secondary teachers who have a foundation of instructional technology and are at various levels of implementation (beginning, intermediate and advanced). Students in each course will develop relevant and meaningful ways to integrate technology in the curriculum, based on various course topics. Topics may include but are not limited to: Authentic Technology Integration and Instructional Design (Intermediate- Advanced), Coding in the Classroom for PK-12 Students (Beginner), Google Apps for PK-12 Students (Beginner), Strategies for Integrating Google Suite into Teaching and Learning (Intermediate- Advanced), Effective Teaching for Distance Learning (Intermediate), and Designing Blended Learning to Impact Student Growth (Intermediate-Advanced). Students may repeat the course for credit with different topics.
Credits: 3
Prerequisite: Must be approved by local school district in partnership agreement with Columbia College.
