The Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice provides a strong educational foundation for work in the criminal justice field.  Students are prepared to be leaders in their chosen field or endeavor in public or private-sector settings.  

Student Learning Outcomes

The successful student will:

1. Demonstrate understanding of the operation, organization and administration of the criminal justice system.  
2. Be able to critically evaluate theories about crime and criminal behavior.  
3. Critically evaluate criminal justice research.  
4. Evidence knowledge of effective leadership skills and traits in various criminal justice sectors.  
5. (Forensic Concentration only):  Understand principles critical to forensics and crime scene investigations including protocols, documentation of evidence, fingerprinting techniques, blood stain pattern analysis and scientific analysis of evidence.
