The mission of the Psychology program is to equip students to think critically about psychological issues, evaluate basic and applied psychological research, and understand the causes and consequences of individual differences.
Student Learning Outcomes
The successful student will:
- Describe and apply key concepts in core psychology content areas.
- Apply basic statistical analysis to behavioral data.
- Critically evaluate psychological research.
- Conduct psychological research and report findings accurately in APA format.

Psychology Electives
- 12 s.h. Psychology electives numbered above 200
Restricted Electives
8-9 semester hours are required as restricted electives beyond General Education requirements, chosen from 4 semester hour courses in BIO, CHEM, CJ, PHYS, PS, or PUBH, or any course designated as CIS or MATH. |
