The mission of the Community and Organizational Leadership program is to provide students with a foundation in leadership theory for specialized leadership roles (e.g., non-profit organizations, community advocacy). Students will acquire knowledge and skills to address community/organizational needs.
Student Learning Outcomes:
- Students will evaluate the behavior of leaders from multiple fields of practice.
- Students will apply knowledge to relevant issues in specialized leadership positions.
- Students will demonstrate the capacity for program evaluation, needs assessment, and other forms of decision-making in leadership roles.
- Students will apply basic research methods and statistical analysis to behavioral data.
