With organizations and government agencies regularly facing cyber threats and potential data breaches, the demand for cybersecurity experts is rapidly growing. Organizations and government need people who are skilled in preventing sophisticated computer viruses, malware, and scams.

The Cybersecurity Certificate provides students an introduction to cybersecurity and focuses on risk assessment, risk management, incident handling, and business-continuity planning. Students will apply current tools and methodologies to secure systems and analyze users’ security issues, evaluate information security trends, practices, and products and measure and assess risk management practices and policies for an enterprise network. This certificate provides a gateway into completing the cybersecurity degree.
