Available in the Day College and Online Program.
The mission of the Forensic Psychology program is to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the intersection of psychology and the law and the ability to apply psychological concepts to criminal justice process and judicial decision-making.
Student Learning Outcomes:
- Students will understand the continuum of human behavior and recognize deviations from normality.
- Students will critically evaluate psychological research.
- Students will be able to critically evaluate theories about crime and criminal behavior.
- Students will demonstrate understanding of the organization and administration of the criminal justice system.
- Students will understand principles critical to forensics and crime scene investigations.

Requirements
Major courses include:
Restricted Electives
SOC 151 must be taken to fulfill the general education Human Institutions and Behavior requirement. Two 4 semester hour laboratory courses are required as restricted electives.
