ORL 500 - Resilience Based Management The ability to be resilient in an organizational setting is the focus of this course. Resilience is the ability to both survive and thrive. The course highlights how to adapt adverse situations effectively in the face of unpleasant or trying circumstances (that is, survive), but also about gaining the positive skills, techniques, and routines that help students to maintain and improve. Since survival is only half of the equation in resilience-based management, studnets will learn how to establish change projects that are resilient, as well as how to plan through the perspective of offense, by taking this course. In addition, students will learn how to understand adversity and how they may use their resilience skills, courage, and fundamental beliefs to transform potential disasters into experiences with long-lasting good effects.
