CHEM 361 - Organic Spectroscopy Theory, use and interpretation of data from infrared and U.V./ visible spectroscopy, 1D and 2D multilinear nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy and mass spectrometry. Laboratory work will stress the use of these techniques to identify the structure of organic compounds. Two hours lecture and one three-hour laboratory weekly.
