SPED 450 - Special Education Instructional Strategies


In this course, teacher candidates will learn to identify and use instructional strategies, curricula and resources that are appropriate and effective in meeting the individual learning needs of persons with mild to moderate learning, intellectual and emotional disabilities. Teacher candidates will develop competencies in planning and managing the teaching/learning environment of resource and self-contained classrooms.
