ASL 121 - American Sign Language I This course is a study of visual readiness and basic vocabulary, grammar features and non-manual behaviors, all focusing on the development of American Sign Language. An introduction to the basics of American Sign Language will be approached via visual/gesture communication techniques, visual discrimination, and visual memory exercises leading to basic conversational skills in ASL.
