CHEM 110 - Survey of Chemistry

This is a one term course covering general, organic and biochemistry designed primarily for the student enrolled in the nursing program. The course covers aspects of general chemistry including atomic structure, bonding and equilibria, a brief introduction to organic chemistry including physical properties and representative reactions of common functional groups and finally provides an overview of the chemistry of the major classes of biomolecules and metabolism.
