EXSC 301 - Exercise Physiology The course will examine the role of the human cardiovascular, pulmonary, nervous, muscular, and endocrine systems that support exercise response and fitness training. The course will include a study of the physiological principles and theories as they have practical application to physical fitness and personal health. Included in the course are laboratory experiences in the areas of cardio-respiratory physiology, health-related fitness, personal nutrition, weight management, and chronic disease prevention. Three hours lecture and one two-hour laboratory weekly.
