Business Administration, B.A.

The Business Program prepares graduates with core knowledge and skills in accounting, finance, marketing, human resources management, international business, management, and critical thinking. Students will be prepared to be challenged and groomed for success as they learn the foundations of managing and leading businesses and organizations. This degree program will equip students to stand out as leaders and effective business decision-makers and manage or own their businesses. By taking advantage of one of our offered concentrations, students can further tailor their degrees to a specific area of interest. The program engages in real-world experiences, networking opportunities, and opportunities to learn from professors from academic and corporate backgrounds. The program will guide students in identifying opportunities and strengths so they can reach to full potential. 

 

Student Learning Outcomes:

  1. Students will demonstrate knowledge of the following functional areas of business: Strategy, Marketing, Finance, and Operations. 
  2. Students will understand the legal and ethical dimensions of business. 
  3. Students will demonstrate readiness to succeed in the business setting and create and manage their entrepreneurial ventures.

Choose 15 s.h. of BUS courses numbered 200 or higher. 9 of these hours must be numbered 300 or above. 

Hospitality, Tourism, and Event Management Concentration
