Requirements
Core Requirements:
Students must take 3 s.h. in addition to each of the following general education categories:
- Aesthetic Literacy
- Historical Literacy
- Human Institutions and Behavior
- Literary Knowledge
- Philosophical Inquiry or Religious Studies
- Science and Quantitative Literacy
In addition, students must take one course from the follwing group:
Concentrations
Students must choose one of the following concentrations as a part of the General Studies major.
Professional Studies
Choose 12 s.h. from any one prefix, except for the following prefix combinations that may be combined for 12 s.h.: CIS/CYS, EDU/SPED, BUS/GB, MUA/MUE/MUS.
Contemporary Interculturality
Choose 12 s.h. from the following. No more than 6 s.h. may be from one prefix.
Social Justice
Choose 12 s.h. from the following. No more than 6 s.h. may be from one prefix.
Total Credit Hours: 33
Note: Students must also complete a minimum of 9 s.h of coursework at the 300 level or higher in the major.
